God: Supreme Being, Creator of All
"And, Thou, Lord in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands" Hebrews 1:10.
Jeremiah 51:15 reads, "He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by His understanding". Also read verse 16.
Other readings which relate to this point are - Isaiah 43:10-11; 44:6; Psalm 40:2; 2 Esdras 6:1-6.
"O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was" John 17:5.
In Revelation 22:13, the Lord says, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last".
We are also told that God Jehovah is a Trinity of three Spirits: "the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). This is further clarified in 1 John 5:7. John 1:14 tells us that "the Word was made flesh", and the Power of God was manifested to mankind through Jesus Christ.
“There is no God beside me..." "I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light and create the darkness. I make peace and I create evil. I the Lord do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it" Isaiah 45:5-8.

Satan, the Devil
God created a large number of beings without substance called 'spirits'.
All these spirits in God's Kingdom of Heaven, and their habitation (spiritual only, without body or soul) is called by Jude "their first estate" (verse 6). Jesus implies this state in the Lord's Prayer, Luke 11:2.
Some of the angels were given greater responsibility than others. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 2 Esdras 4:36 we read of archangels. Some are named Uriel, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael (Daniel 12:1; Luke 1:26).
God also created evil and allowed it to appear in Lucifer (Satan), an archangel (see Ezekiel 28:15) to prove that good would ultimately prevail over the evil.
The devil is not merely the principal of evil, but is a distinct spiritual being. He is a distinct, evil personality, an unembodied spirit, who, with evil minded spirits, like himself, are referred in Jude 6, "angels which kept not their first estate, left their own habitation."
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning (see 1 John 3:8). Jesus and the Pharisees declared Beelzebub to be the Prince of Devils (see Matthew 12:24).
"Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works" 2 Corinthians 11:14,15.
Lucifer, one of God's Head Archangels, was overcome by the evil and it took hold of him. Iniquity was found in him (ie., covetousness, arrogance, boastfulness, pride). He was "perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him"...."and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalted himself above all that is called God, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4.
Note, however, that God had created the evil, "Shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it" Amos 3:6 (see Isaiah 45:7), to prove His creation, and in the hope that the created beings would choose to serve Him (see Romans 8:20).
So Lucifer under the allurement of evil, and trapped by it wanted all the spirits in heaven to support him, and to become evil as he then was. He attempted to overthrow the power of God, and obtain absolute power to rule over his followers and all of God's creation.
Some of the spirits in heaven gave him full support, proclaiming him as sovereign and supreme creator, whilst others under the leadership - of the Archangel Michael, withstood his obviously deceptive allures. These were those who remained steadfastly faithful to God.
There were, however, still the majority of the spirits who initially gave their allegiance to neither group, but later were overcome and went with Lucifer and supported him.
God cast Satan out of heaven forever; "Yet thou shalt be brought down to Hell, to the sides of the pit", and He also said, "They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee". Read Isaiah 14:12-16. Satan was to become totally immersed in the influence of evil and enslaved to it; total prisoner unable to escape from it forever and ever, doing its terrible work. Such passages as Ecclesiastes 4:8 talk of the futility of Satan's endeavours.
Satan, by his rebellious action against God, had divided the spirit beings basically into three groups:
Those who assisted and fell with Satan.
Those who were persuaded to fall.
Those who remained faithful to God.
-
Spirit Existence
God created a large number of beings without physical substance, called spirits. God also created evil, and allowed it to appear in Lucifer, the Head Archangel, to prove that ultimately good would prevail over evil.
Lucifer sought to gain the allegiance of the created beings, which should have been directed to God. As a result, there was a "rebellion" in this "heavenly state" and the created beings(spirits) were divided into three basic groups - those who fell willingly, those who were persuaded to fall, and those who remained faithful to God.
In the Heavenly State, when all the spirits were created, they were commanded to be obedient to God, their Creator. Lucifer, one of the head Arch-Angels whom God had placed over some of His works, endeavoured to get all spirits to give allegiance to him and not to God. Some went fully with him, others endeavoured to resist him and only gave him partial allegiance, while the third group stood loyal to God and gave no allegiance to Lucifer at all.
Another archangel, Michael by name, is mentioned in the Scriptures. Michael, we believe, was the Head Archangel, who stood for God and good, and who with the faithful spirits cast Lucifer and the fallen spirits out from the presence of God (The Heavenly State - Revelation 12:7,8; Daniel 12:1).
God is now giving those of the second group an opportunity to prove their loyalty and obedience to Him through the means of a body and soul.

Our Physical World
In the Heavenly State, when all spirits were created, they were commanded to be obedient to God, their Creator. Lucifer, one of the head Archangels whom God had placed over some of His works, endeavoured to get all spirits to give allegiance to him and not to God. Some went fully with him, others endeavoured to resist him and only gave him partial allegiance, while the third group stood loyal to God and gave him no allegiance at all (see Isaiah 14:12-15).
God is now giving those of the second and third group an opportunity to prove their loyalty and obedience to Him through the means of a body and soul (see Romans 8:20).
God initially created a physical body called Adam, and sent one of the duo-spirits to "breathe life" into it. Later, he separated the male and female portions and created a second body - called Eve (see Genesis 2:7,21-23). After eating of the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve each possessed a physical body, with a life of blood, kept alive by the influence of the spirit which had been driven outside the body, then subject to death (see Genesis 3:19-23). The spirit ceased to be the direct life-source of the body. Both received a soul which had the same shape and form as the body, although not physical, and which was to learn the difference between good and evil (see Hebrews 4:12).
Physical death has reigned over the bodies of all who have come of Adam - with just a few exceptions. After death, the spirit returns to God who gave it. The body returns to dust in the grave, where the soul "sleeps" until the resurrection and day of judgment (see Ecclesiastes 12:7).
At our Saviour's return, each who has believed will arise with a "spiritual" body - the soul being as a "house" for the spirit to dwell in (see 1 Timothy 4:10).
There will, however, be a small number who will overcome the power which Satan has in causing man to die physically. These people will first enter fully into the presence of God's Spirit, into a condition referred to as "The Partial Redemption" (see Revelation 14:1,5).
Then at Jesus Christ's return, their spirits with God's Spirit will enter their souls and bodies, and become the life of them. There will be no longer a need for blood, as these people will have immortal physical bodies. They will have life by the indwelling Power of God, as Adam when first created, except that they will then be greater because they will have souls and a knowledge of good and evil, and not be subject to Satan's temptations again.

The Law and Gospel
The Christian Israelite Church, as the name implies, teaches the joining of the Old and New Testaments (Law and Gospel). In the latter days a "remnant" will be prepared for the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. These people will be true followers of Him and will have kept God's laws and commandments, and in the process of preparation will have had the evil taken away from their hearts and minds.
In the Old Testament are the Laws which God gave to Israel through Moses. God promised that if Israel were obedient to these Laws, they would receive blessings from Him, including life (of the body) without death. Because of the influence of Satan in attracting the evil in man, and causing him to do wrong, the Law, "which was ordained to life, was found to be unto death" (Romans 7:10). The Law is Holy, but a problem exists because of man's inability to keep it, and through disobedience it condemns man in God's sight.
The Law also allowed, that after transgression, those requiring reconciliation to God could offer the blood of an animal to make atonement for their souls. This, however, could not make man perfect.
Jesus then came, and, in accordance with the sacrificial requirements of the Law, offered himself to reconcile all men to God, thus fulfilling the sacrificial requirements of the Law.

All Have Sinned
After eating of the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve each possessed a physical body, with a life of blood, kept alive by the influence of the spirit which had been driven outside the body, which was then subject to death. The spirit ceased to be the direct life source of the body. Both received a soul which was to learn the difference between good and evil which had the same shape and form as the body, although not physical.
Physical death has reigned over the bodies of all who have come of Adam - with just a few exceptions (eg. Enoch, Elijah and Jesus). After death, the spirit returns to God who gave it. The body returns to dust in the grave, where the soul 'sleeps' until the resurrection and day of judgment.
At our Saviour's return, each who has believed will arise with a 'spiritual' body - the soul being as a 'house' for the spirit to dwell in.
-
Sacrifice
God knew that the sacrifice of animals was not enough to "save" man from the power of Satan. It was in His Plan to send His Son Jesus Christ as a perfect sacrifice according to the Law, and as an example of righteousness for us to follow. The virtue of the sacrifice of Jesus superseded the requirement of an animal sacrifice, and thus did away with it. He is the Saviour of ALL men, but especially of those that believe in Him and His sacrifice for their sins (Hebrews 10:10; 1 John 1:7; Philippians 2:10; 1 Timothy 4:10).
Jesus rose from the grave, and forty days later ascended to heaven (Acts 1:9).
During the time from the crucifixion to His return, God's great love toward mankind enables us to have forgiveness of our sins through faith in Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:7-11; Romans 10:9). However, the hope of salvation through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus did not replace the promise of life without passing through physical death (Galatians 3:19; James 1:25; Jude 5:3; Romans 10:21) which God still held out to Israel, who will keep the former covenant of obedience (see Jeremiah 31:33).
-
Belief in the Sacrifice
God's Plan allows for the return of Jesus Christ to the world and at that time for a remnant of the children of Israel to be obedient to the Law and Gospel (Proverbs 29:18; Revelation 14:1-4; 12; John 8:39; Romans 11:24,25). During the last few centuries, God has sent various messengers, one of whom, John Wroe (known as the fifth messenger) was instructed in establishing the Christian Israelite Church, whose special charge is to renew God's Laws and Commands to scattered Israel, that His Laws and Commands may prove who are Israel and who are not (see Matthew 10:6,7; 15:24; 28:19, 20; Luke 24:47; James 1:1; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Amos 3:7; Malachi 3:1; Job 33:23-30).
As Christian Israelites we believe that God is working in the hearts and minds of scattered Israel, preparing a remnant to live in obedience to His Law and Gospel. He has promised the power of Christ and the Comforter for them to achieve complete obedience (see John 14:15-17,24,26; Joel 2:23,28), and those who strive, asking for this help, through faith and works will receive it, asking for His help through faith in works, God has promised we will receive it.
It is important to note that as God has increased His knowledge to mankind, Satan has also increased his influence in the world, and even amongst Christian people, causing great deception (see 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Matthew 24:22,2; 2 Peter 3:3,4). As individuals we need to establish our own contact with God, through Jesus Christ, so that God will impart Spiritual Strength to guide and help us to know right from wrong so that we may know how to live in obedience to Him (see Exodus 13:15; Matthew 24:22; 2 Peter 3:3,4). The Christian Israelite Church impresses members to have a desire to follow both Law and Gospel, as Jesus did, being led by the same two Immortal Spirits that did the work in Him.

Israel - God's Special People
In the Scriptures we see that God has chosen a special people, to be a "peculiar treasure" to Him. There had always been a God-fearing line from the time of Adam, but God especially chose Abram, and from him proceeded the Children of Israel. The relationship between God and Israel since that time is illustrated below.
ISRAEL CHOSEN BY GOD -
Israel called out of Egypt to be a special people (Exodus 3:7,8).
COVENANT OF LIFE -
Israel given the commandments (Exodus 19:5-8).
ISRAEL REJECT GOD -
Israel disobedient to God's instructions (Ezekiel 2:3).
ISRAEL DISPERSED -
Twelve tribes scattered - Deuteronomy 28:58, 64; Jeremiah 32:37; James 1:1.
COVENANT RENEWED -
Promises to Israel yet to be fulfilled - Jeremiah 31:31,33; Romans 11:25.
ISRAEL REGATHERED -
A gathering together of a remnant (144,000) of the descendants of Israel.
Ezekiel 34:11-13; Jeremiah 31:10; Revelation 7:4; 14:1. -
The Coming of the Saviour
When the baby Jesus was born, He possessed a spirit and a soul and a body. His spirit, we understand, was called Michael - who had stood for God and good in the spirit rebellion. His body, born of the seed of the woman without an earthly father, had no evil in it - He was born with pure blood. Because there was no evil, His soul was not limited in receiving knowledge and understanding from His Spirit. As the child grew, He was overshadowed by the Spirit of the Christ and the Holy Ghost (see Luke 3:21,22).
At His baptism, Jesus entered fully into the presence of God, which was as a tabernacle or tent, in which He dwelt.
During the trial of Jesus, God withdrew the Spirits of Christ and the Holy Ghost, leaving the man Jesus to suffer and bear the reproach. When He died, His spirit returned to God and His soul and body went to the grave.
In His resurrection, Jesus showed two glories:
the spiritual or celestial when His spirit and soul appeared to Mary, and
the glorified physical or terrestrial when He appeared to the disciples with God's Spirit plus His own spirit dwelling within His immortal body.
Members of the Christian Israelite Church believe that events towards the end of the world will be along these lines.
As the return of Jesus Christ approaches, there will be a "falling away" from the Christian faith by many. Social forces will tend to divide the world into those who believe in and seek to follow God, and those who do not. In the period just prior to Jesus Christ's return, God will pour out His Spirit to prepare a group of people to be His witnesses to all the earth.
The brightness of Jesus Christ at His coming will physically destroy the living bodies of all those who have not come to follow HIM. At that time, all souls will be called forth with their individual spirits to give an account of the deeds done during their life on earth. After this judgment, if they are found to be righteous, they will become spiritual beings, their spirits and souls being permanently reunited. This if the First Resurrection (see Revelation 20:6). The souls of the unrighteous will be returned to the grave, separated from God, for 1,000 years (see Revelation 20:7;21:8). There will be some people living at the time of Jesus Christ's return who will not be destroyed physically. Some will receive the promise made to the seed of the lost tribes of Israel. They will be a people who will have the Law and Gospel written in their hearts. The number of the people will be 144,000, being 12,000 out of each of the tribes of Israel. There also will be others preserved physically, the number of which is not specifically given in Scripture. These people will attain to different "mansions" in the new kingdom. The 144,000 will be of the faithful group of spirits whose allegiance was to God and Good in the former creation.
During the 1,000 years following the return of Jesus Christ (the millennium), Satan will be bound but will be loosed again for a "little season" after the millennium (see Revelation 20:3). He will then work again on the people born during the millennium who have never experienced his attraction on their evil, to tempt them to do wrong.
The unrepentant souls who will still be awaiting the final resurrection, will watch these activities. They will then come to a realisation that good is better than evil, and they will acknowledge God and His Power - "every tongue shall confess" Romans 14:11. The consciousness of these souls who have been separated from God during the millennium, will cause them great torment (see Isaiah 57:2). This is the state commonly referred to as "hell".
After the "little season", Satan himself will be brought to judgment with those whom he had deceived both in that period and during this life. It will be acknowledged that Satan was the author of all sin, and his power will be taken from him. In doing so, all souls which he has held in the grave (or hell) will become subject to God, and be reconciled to Him through the effectiveness of the sacrifice of Jesus. This is the second resurrection.
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality" 1 Corinthians 15:50-53.

God's Chosen People
This section can be broken into three groups:
God's Israel is a "Lost" Nation
The Jews are only a part of Israel *
God's Promises to a Literal, Physical Israel **
Many people have difficulty in identifying the two messages which run parallel through the New Testament - the "spiritual" hope of soul salvation promised to all through faith and the "physical" hope of life of spirit, soul and body without death, promised to the 12 tribes of Israel through obedience.
This is contrasted in passages like Acts 16:31, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (also read Acts 10:35; Romans 3:29 and John 11:25) demonstrating where faith brings salvation of the spirit and soul, as compared to 1 Thessalonians 5:23, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". For further reference read Philippians 3:14,21, John 11:26, 6:50,58, where complete co-operation with God's Spiritual Strength brings obedience to His commands, hence overcoming physical death and presenting Spirit and Soul and Body alive, obediently prepared through love to do ("eat") God's instructions.

Latter Rain 22 "Israel, God's Elect"
*The Jews are only Part of Israel
Only two of the twelve tribes are Jews. After the seventy years of captivity, commenced by Nebuchadnezzar, many Israelites returned to Jerusalem (Nehemiah 7:73). However, this number, 42, 360, was even far less than the number which had come out of Egypt, and comprised predominantly those Jews who had been living in Jerusalem prior to the captivity (Nehemiah 7:6). Thus the return under Cyrus was of some of the Jews and the ten tribes remained in dispersion (ref. Matthew 10:6). So too, the Jews today are descended from only two of the twelve tribes, the other ten still being "lost".
** There is a belief held by some people that since the time of Jesus, literal, physical Israel has been discarded by God, and all who believe are counted as Israelites through faith (see for example Ephesians 2:12; Romans 3, etc.). Whilst it is true that Abraham's Faith was a figure of the hope of salvation by faith that was to come, Paul makes it quite clear in passages such as Romans chapter 11 that whilst Israel have been put aside for a time, they have not been discarded by God, "that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in" Romans 11:25.

The Remnant
In times past, God scattered the ten tribes for their disobedience and will regather their descendants again in these latter days, when their wholehearted desire will be to be obedient. Those of this lineal descent are being awakened and are searching for God's Truth whilst asking the way to Zion (Christ and the Holy Ghost) with their faces thitherward (see Jeremiah 50:5). They are Christians of Israelite descent.
What is their hope? Perhaps at this point of time it is not clear to them, but they know that they have an inward working inspired by God, compelling them to seek till they find complete satisfaction, and so end their restlessness. They know God is a personal God, a loving Father who is anxious to help His earthly children, and so they will continue to seek till they find the way, and that inner peace that belongs unto the Perfection of their whole being, through knowing His Will for Israel, and doing it (see Proverbs 12:28).
Members of the Christian Israelite Church have been given a pattern for advancement towards this goal; their Church has been given the "avenue", or way of approach. It is to make a Covenant with God (refer Isaiah 59:21), an actual commitment in which a person signifies his or her willingness to abide by His instructions, with His assistance, and ultimately have eternal LIFE take the place of death in their physical frames so that they then may become "temples" of the Living God, and be a Son of God, as Jesus is (see Jeremiah 31:31-34).
God, through the Power of His Two Immortal Spirits, can cause this to come to pass by removing mankind's inherent evil; He has designed it to happen, and it is His Will for 144,000 of the seed (remnant) of Israel. That is the significance of an "Israelite" Church. Its Message is not for the world as a whole, as is the Christian Message, but rather to seek out those who are predestinated for that Calling (see Romans 8:29).
Christian Israelites know that of themselves they cannot do the work of obedience God requires of them, but they believe God can do it in them, when they make the Covenant of Life with Him. Furthermore, by fervent prayer and close communion with Him, they may grow in the knowledge of the possession of it, thus showing their willing co-operation and desire to receive the Immortal Life He has to give (see John 17:14-18).
There is a physical life to be given, and there is also a spiritual life to be given from God. The spiritual life force emanates from God Himself; it knows no beginning of days, nor end of life. When Israel's physical bodies are cleansed of the evil, they will be changed, preserved and immortalised by God's effervescent life force filling the bodies of His people and changing them from mortal to immortal. Then will be manifested the Redemption of their spirits, souls and bodies to the honour and glory of His Holy Name (see 1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Thessalonians 5:23).
The time fast approaches when the reign of sin and evil will be terminated and God's Glory will be seen here below (see Isaiah 25:8). His Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace will be established in each one who is prepared for that transformation. The Message is one of urgency, so make ready for the coming of the King. "Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye" Ezekiel 18:31,32.
-
Bride of the Lamb
If there were no "Bride", there would be no resurrection.
The Book of the Revelation speaks of a number of truths which God is going to fulfil; if anyone of these does not come to pass, God's word would be deficient.
Some of these truths in sequence are:
"........come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious.......and the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb" 21:9-14.
"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready" 19:7.
"And I looked and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads" 14:1.
"And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel....." 7:4.
This is the Bride sealed; the living mortals who are to put on immortality and they are the centre of the events in the Revelation. Their wedding is the triumph of good over evil, for their mortal bodies putting on immortality completes the fulfilment of the promise in Genesis 3:15, "Thou (Israel) shall bruise his (Satan's) head...."
"After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands" 7:9.
".......and white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled" 6:11.
This group are those who have lost their physical bodies through corrupting in the grave, but their souls will rise from the grave to be united with their spirits, forming spiritual bodies, thus "corruption putting on incorruption" (see 1 Corinthians 15:52).
If there were no Bride there would not be a wedding; we can say then, that it is necessary for the Bride to attain to righteousness of Faith and Obedience if she is going to be ready for the Bridegroom, so that the victory of good over evil as declared by God will come about.
The Bride will have reached the standard of righteousness to which Jesus attained - true obedience without the need of repentance (see Romans 9:4; 1 Samuel 15:22; Micah 6:6-8; Amos 5:21-24).
This group called "The Bride" is a separate group from the friends (see Revelation 7:9-10) that are invited. The friends invited to the wedding have had Christian faith and Christian works, and this has qualified them to be present, and to witness the triumph of "the Lamb", but their discipleship has not measured up to Jesus' standards where "doing the Will of God" through the Law and Gospel is able to make them equal with Him (Matthew 12:50).
